Will Teichman

Will Teichman

My name is Will Teichman and I’m Kimco’s Senior Director of Strategic Operations. I work together with colleagues from across the company on programs and systems to improve operational efficiency, evaluate internal business processes, develop new sources of income, and enhance Kimco’s reputation and brand identity. I am also responsible for Kimco’s sustainability reporting. I joined Kimco on Valentine’s Day in 2011, relocating from Minnesota to one of Kimco’s North Carolina offices (the temperature was 80 degrees warmer when I arrived in Charlotte). Before Kimco, I consulted with businesses and other institutions to help them solve operational and product-related environmental challenges. Working in this field is both challenging and rewarding – and I’ve always sought out opportunities to have a meaningful and lasting impact. I’m fortunate to work for an organization with both a rich history and a commitment to remaining innovative. I am originally from North Carolina, and was educated in Virginia. I hold an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and politics from Washington and Lee University. I live with my wife and son in Charlotte.

Our Illumi-Nation program made its way into the new year on a high note with approximately 50 percent of our top-tier sites now retrofitted with LED lights. We are well on the way to achieving Kimco’s energy reduction goal of a 10 percent reduction in same-site consumption within our operational control.… Read More
