James Bruin

Hi, I’m Jim Bruin, Vice President, Portfolio Management at Kimco. I manage the relationships between Kimco and our institutional joint venture partners. Before joining the company, I spent 13 years with GE Capital Real Estate, where I focused on debt and equity products related to apartments, medical offices, and retail. I specialized in troubled debt restructures, joint ventures, and managing owned real estate. I’m a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM). I have an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially skiing; running with my wife, Jeannine; and helping my daughter, Caitlin, practice her soccer skills.
