Hi, I'm Dave Henry, President, Vice Chairman, and CEO of Kimco. Our company is a special place with great people. Although we're a large public company, we have a "mom and pop" culture built on a philosophy of treating everyone with respect and always being a good partner to the people and businesses we work with every day. I hope by visiting our blog you will gain some insight into what we're all about. Feel free to comment on anything and everything we write about! Before joining Kimco, I spent 23 years at GE Capital Real Estate, where I was Senior Vice President & CIO. I was also Chairman of the company's Investment Committee and a member of the Credit Committee. Prior to joining GE Capital, I spent six years as Vice President with Republic Mortgage Investors, a REIT based in Coral Gables, Fla. I earned my M.B.A. from the University of Miami and bachelor's degree in business administration from Bucknell University. Outside of the office, I serve on the boards of HCP and TRI, Inc., and am the current Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers. I also enjoy fishing in my free time.
