Moms deserve to be spoiled! The District at Tustin Legacy, OC Mom Magazine, and Chrysler teamed up to do just that on Saturday, July 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the One Lucky Mother event. Over 300 moms were pampered and celebrated. All proceeds from the ticketed event went to the Golden Rule Charity, a local Orange County nonprofit that provides crisis grants to restaurant employees faced with emergency situations.

It was an afternoon of indulgence with food and wine tastings, culinary demonstrations, and fashion showcases in the 22,000-square-foot former DSW space at The District. Lounge vignettes, mimicking an outdoor patio set up, and family room furniture were provided by Aki-Home which provided a comfortable place for moms to kick their feet up. Guests also had the opportunity to test drive the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

Thirty-five vendors participated in the event, which included postcard painting with Pinot’s Palette, fashion presentations by Jasper Plum, chocolate bark creations with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, hand massages by Alli Niven from Naturally 4 You, spice blend demonstrations by Spice and Tulips, make your own essential oil bath salts from Whole Foods, crafts by Play Action Parties as well as many other “experiential booths.”  The event also featured a live cooking demo with Cathy Thomas, recent first place winner of the Association of Food Journalists best food columnist award, and workouts instructed by Real Housewives of Orange County Star, Peggy Tanous.
