Treats and Tweets: Retailers use social media to boost Halloween sales
Even the sun seems to be in the Halloween spirit this year as the clocks tick down to All Hallows Eve. And retailers started handing out their treats early as we neared the first big celebration of the holiday season. According the National Retail Federation, an estimated $7.4 billion is expected to be spent on Halloween this year.
From must-have puppy costumes to monster food deals, retailers are turning to social media to inform consumers about the many sweet sales and promotions they can find in stores this Halloween season.
